  •   Workshop nonholonomic mechanics and optimal control,  November 25 - Nov 28, 2014, Paris
The workshop will focus on recent advances in geometric optimal control and non-holonomic mechanics, with applications to robotics and/or motion planning. The main goal of the workshop is to share knowledge among mathematicians from different countries (including graduate students and postdoctoral fellows), by providing them with a place to meet and discuss their recent research topics. The workshop is intended to cover a rather broad range of research interests in the area of geometric control theory. Among others, covered topics will be: curvature in control theory, rolling problems, non smooth optimization, computations in free Lie algebra, Hamilton-Jacobi equation, action principles, inverse optimal control problems.
  • SIAM Conference on Control and Its Applications (CT15) , July 8-10, 2015, Paris
This conference will showcase a wide range of topics in control and systems theory. The topics and applications include control of PDEs, computational mathematics for control and optimization, real-time optimization and data assimilation, cooperative control for unmanned autonomous vehicles, dynamic games, cellular and biological regulation, control of hybrid systems, control techniques for financial mathematics, analysis and control of biomedical systems, risk sensitive control and filtering, control of smart systems, flow control and quantum control.
  • 17th British-French-German Conference on Optimization, Imperial College London, June 15-17, 2015
The conference will address all aspects of optimization and its applications, including: optimization theory and algorithm design, robust and stochastic optimization, variational inequalities and convex analysis, control theory and applications in image processing, finance, energy, operations management and engineering
